Training on Social Protection in Gujarat
A two-day workshop was held on ESP (Ensuring Social Protection and Building Climate-Resilient Communities) from 28th-29th August 2023 organised at Ashadeep, Human Resource Development Centre, Nana Bazar, Vidyanagar, Gujrat. The workshop focused on the goal, objectives and indicators of ESP, formation and strengthening of CCFF (Community Conservation Facilitating Forums), SPF (Social Protection Floor) as recommended by ILO as well as Understanding Climate Change and Capacity Building for Climate Action. Thirty four (34) Organization Heads and Staff from 12 organizations actively participated in the workshop. Climate vulnerability mapping by all the community members was interesting to watch and indeed a knowledgeable exercise.
