YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION

India is a home to a diverse range of tribal communities each with their unique cultures,
traditions and festivals. To provide a glimpse into India’s rich heritage a Tribal Festival was
organized on 4th February’ 24 by the Committee of Young Men’s Christian Association
(YMCA), New Delhi. The cultural fest aims at preserving the essence and purity of the tribal
communities by coming together on a common platform to showcase their culture, arts & crafts
as well as their culinary traditions. We were honored to have Dr. M. A. Alam, (Vice Chancellor,
Jamia Hamdard University and Hon. Member of Parliament), Mr. Niranjan Bishi, (Hon. Member
of Parliament), Mr. Dinesh Murmu, (DIG BSF), Dr. Dhananjay Giri, (BJP Spokesperson),
Ambassador Amit Lugun, (IFS – Retired, Former Ambassador – Greece), Mr. Joy Benjamin,
(President, New Delhi YMCA) and last but not the least Mr. Rajeev Singh, (General Secretary &
CEO, YMCA, New Delhi) as our special guests. 21 different groups participated in the cultural
